My state is Arkansas and its flower is dog wood

What State do you live in and tell me what it is know for like the flower? etc etc?
I am from Oklahoma and have always lived here.





Oklahoma is the 46th state of the union, gaining state hood on Nov. 16, 1907.





Flower is Mistletoe


Motto is Labor Conquers All Things

Reply:I live in the great state of Indiana. Our state flower is the Peony. Of course we are known for the Colts, and the Indy 500.
Reply:I live in Utah. The state flower is the sego lilly, the state bird is the seagull. Utah is known for the Great Salt Lake, Mormons and the wonderful landscapes.

Reply:Nevada. It's the Sagebrush. But, with all the road repairs and construction going on all the time in Southern Nevada we're seriously thinking of designated the orange traffic cone as some sort of state symbol.

Reply:I live in Virginia, the Old Dominion state (actually, it is not a state, it is one of four commonwealths -- the others are Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts). The state flower is the Dogwood, the state bird is the Cardinal, and we once had a state song, written by a black man.





But it used the word da*ky, so it has now been declared inappropriate and the search is on for another. Someone thought it would be nice if they could find one written by a black man. (HUNH?)
