What does florida's state flower represent?

Florida's state flower is the "orange blossom. We want to find out what does it mean?, and why does that particuar flower represents florida?

What does florida's state flower represent?
One of Florida's largest export industries is the orange...so it stands to reason the the orange blossom was chosen to acknowledge that.
