Need flower help.....?
want to buy flowers for someone for mothers day but they live out of state (califorina) only want to spend bout 20 bucks but need it to be deliverd by tomorrow

There are all kinds of "Conroy's Flower Shops" here in California. Maybe try looking them up online and see if they have one near your friend. They should have a variety of prices and should find something within the $20 range.

What are the meanings of the OSU colors?
I heard that the gray was for Ohio Sky and the Red for a flower... Is that true? Does anyone have a good source for the Ohio State Color meanings?

What can I clean Terra-cotta with besides soap?
We're moving from overseas back to the states soon and I have several terra cotta flower pots from the different countries we've lived in. I have to clean all the dirt residue off them before they can be packed.
Will soap soak in to the pot and come back out later and poison my plants? Is there something else I can clean them with that won't harm my plants later?
What can I clean Terra-cotta with besides soap?
I would just use a little scrubber brush and water. I don't know if soap would harm the plants you plan on putting in there or not, but I would have the same fear. Just scrub and water...see if that doesn't work for ya.

Terra cotta is intentionally porous, but a thorough rinsing will get rid of any agents used in cleaning
