Reply:Mexico's national bird depicted on their flag is either the crested caracara or the golden eagle. The golden eagle is claimed to be on their coat of arms on their flag but many sites say the national bird is the caracara or the Mexican eagle. There seems to be no government decree asserting the birds identity.
