Which state should I do?

I have a 2 page essay due tomorrow that I forgot about-1st period of the day. I have to choose a state (other than Hawaii-cuz I live here) and write about it's culture facts, state flower-stuff like that. I decided that I want to do one of the origanal 13 colonies (Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia) but which one should I do? are there any similarities between any of them. Like which ones were the last to end slavery. or which ones had running water first. . . anything!

I'm not asking for material for my report-I'm just asking for an opinion on why I should choose a particular state.


Please only suggestions out of the ones listed!

Which state should I do?
I say Connecticut, because I'm from here. Oddly enough, my boyfriend is from Hawaii!
Reply:I'd do Massachusetts, there is so much history to report on, you'll have plenty to fill up those pages!!
Reply:i would say Delaware lots of interesting little facts and plus it was th first state to ratify the constitution

Reply:well i mite not be a lot of help but i would tell the teacher that i would rather fail than right two pages on a state that in the USA mainly because i hate righting a lot i hate righting so much that i mite of quit school if i did not have classes that i liked a lot now i rather right about how i would start putting thing on the moon so we could live there like plants for oxgen and solar panles for engery and try to ship water to drink and for the plants
Reply:Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, longest name - smallest State. Interesting as having been a land grant by the King for a place to practice "free" religion, they never felt they needed to fight the King. However has the State was the base of the Yankee traders in the worse sense, being slave shippers, rum runners and would sell your grandmother for a buck, the thought of a good fight during the Revolution had its merits.
