How are flowers reproductive structures?

My textbook states that flowers are reproductive structures. Aren't the reproductive structures of flowers, stamens and pistils? If flowers are reproductive structures, does that make pelvises reproductive structures too? %26gt;_%26gt;

Flowers are reproductive structures. Stamens and Pistils are parts of flower.





Compare with Human reproductive organs. Human have both external and internal reproductive organs.
Reply:The plant body is divided into two parts Vegetative parts and Reproductive parts, flowers come under reproductive parts, this is what the book explains.
