I just read something stating this, and now I am all freaked out.

If your date buys you a corsage, is it custom to buy him a flower for his lapel? (Prom)?
the guy buys the girl a corsage, and the girls buy the guy a boutonniere (the single flower pinned on his tux).
Reply:I think a bj is preferred, but I guess you could get him a flower. But, really, a flower is not as good as a bj. Just saying.
Reply:its tradition that you always get the other their little flower thing. make sure it matches your dress or ask him what color his tie is and try to get something thatll look good with it.
