Or suggestions of getting a gift to someone in another state besides 1-800-flowers. Actually not flowers. and has to be under $50 bucks total!

Amazon will send an email notifying the recipient that they have been given a gift certificate.
Reply:Amazon is great! walmart/asda all so do do same day delivery, you should check it out, its great!
Reply:I would try to contact a store in their area and see if they deliver.


You could also call a florist or FTD and see if they would be willing to pick something up to have delivered. They are going to up-charge you like crazy if they do it, but it might be worth it.


You can also send cookie bouquets or a gift basket.

Just thought of something else...what about internet gift certificates. I think you can get them from just about any online store, and I seem to remember paypal even has something like that. That way you could use the whole $50 towards a certificate instead of paying all the delivery charges you're going to have to pay by sending a gift. Just a thought.
